What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.

Everything in one place, including regulation, withdrawals, more info pricing, and read moreclick here the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
